Internal Communications

In a video news magazine format, Holt Renfrew communicated quarterly to their sales associates, recapping what had happened in the fashion business, and what was coming up to better prepare them for the customer. Called “News 4 U”, Gel was responsible for the scripting, shooting and editing of the program, undertaken in both English and French.

eLearning and Web Video

Holt Renfrew equipped each store across Canada with video cameras. Gel reviewed and edited all the user-generated content that the client then incorporated into an eLearning program. The program, entitled “Total Rewards – Here at Holts”, received a Gold award from the CSTD (Canadian Society for Training and Development). These self-recorded videos were also used in the careers section of Holt’s website (screen shot below).

Interactive Training

To help sales associates develop a loyal customer base, Gel was asked to produce a series of five “Clientele Development” video modules to be shown by HR facilitators during interactive presentations. To save on the cost of producing single language programs, we recommended and produced these as bilingual modules, mixing both English and French testimonials. Holts provided the interviews and B-roll, and we creatively edited the footage together for them, designing our graphics to match their PowerPoint.
