Gel was formed in 1992 by Jim Grosso, who began his retail career at Loblaw Companies Limited, first as Creative Producer, and then as Managing Director of Broadcast and Corporate Communications. Jim was part of the team that launched the President’s Choice brand and the Insider’s Report. As Managing Director, he was responsible for the execution of all TV and radio spots, instore video and internal media for multiple business units.
